Work description:(A)

  • Supervises the execution of the onsite activities during the shift. Provide continuous, accurate and reliable information to the well delivery team members on any aspect of the operation.
  • Oversees the onsite Drilling & work over work performed by contractors and service personnel associated with drilling and work over operations to ensure proper implementation of the drilling plan.
  • Inspects and checks drilling rig, equipment, material stock, and work performance of on-board crew,
  • Directs and controls all operational activities related to drilling, workover, well completion carried out by contractors/services companies on assigned rig, includes directing the proper implementation of various operational programs, e.g.: drilling, workover, completion, logging, testing, acidizing, etc.

 

  • Proposing and executing amendments to approved programs in response to changing operational parameters.
  • Ensures that all operations on the rig site and camp area are carried out in accordance with pertinent contract provisions consistent with safety, environment and loss prevention policies, rules and regulations.
  • Implements Company Health, safety and Environment (HSE) policies and Safety Management System (SMS) as applicable to rig operations.
  • Monitors all supply activities of company materials and equipment to ensure economic and cost effective utilization.
  • Prepares the drilling/workover morning report, summarizing all rig activities in the previous 24 hrs including cost details of such activities.
  • Perform all necessary communications to take & hand over location from and to field operations acts as the company's operational site manager on assigned rig.
  • Supervises and ensures the safe and sound execution of all operational program carried out by drilling contractors and services company on assigned rig covering drilling, workover, well completion and related activities.
  • Review programs in light of work progress, and implements minor amendments in light of unforeseen operation requirements.
  • Ensure well control and authorizes remedial/ preventive actions in case of emergency or hazards to safety e.g.: detection of H2S, blow out, overflow, and kick as per company policies and emergency procedures.
  • Monitor, co-ordinate and controls the activities of contractors and service company personnel involved in various activities on site covering wireline logging, fishing, running and pulling Casing & Tubing, running Completion's, acidizing, cementing, coring, production testing, sampling, etc.
  • Supervises and controls all supply activities related to company materials and equipment on assigned rig, and ensure tile return of equipment and supply materials to company stores.
  • Plans and participates in rig moves to ensure accurate rig positioning, safety of Company facilities, e.g. flow lines, power lines and wellhead.
  • Receives completed well from contractors and prepares and witness hand over certificate to and from field operations.
  • Prepares a variety of cost and activity reports including daily cost/expenditure reports materials consumption and general work progress, Etc.
  • Participates in hazards operations teams and prepares checklists for identification of hazards and advise on appropriate tools to assess risk authorizes risk mitigation methods.

 

  • Leads major incident investigation teams perform root causes analyses; follow up actions and shares lessons learned.
  • Prepares documentation on standard drilling instructions, procedures and HSE manuals.
  • Instructs and advise contractors on safety measures to be taken during adverse weather conditions which may cause delays, Act as on team commander in case of emergency, accident, and environmental incident.
  • Audits drilling Contractors/service Company’s operational records and reports to ensure compliance with terms of contract.
  • Participates in the training and development of the company employees, includes developing and implementing training programs, monitoring and reporting on progress and counseling employees as required.
  • Knows the company health, safety and environmental policy, procedures, regulations and objectives.

Completing rig move,  drilling 26 “top hole, running and cementing 18 5/8” casing drilling 17 ½” hole, running and cementing 13 3/8” casing, drilling 12 ¼” hole, running and cementing 9 5/8” casing, performing limit test, drill 8 ½” hole, running and cementing 7” casing liner, suspension of the well, curing total losses, deplete Shiranish formation gas, monitored the well and gas behaviour, run initial completions, retrieved tubing using chemical cutter, fished tubing with spear and over shot, cured losses and gains, cut and opened casing windows, squeezed LCM and cement, apply drilling to limit technology. Drill deep wells , run cemented completion , drill directional hole by motors and MWD, free stuck pipe differential stuck by reducing hydrostatic pressure , freeing stuck pipe due  PDC bit jamming , apply free point indicator , cut 6 ½” dc by wire line explosives , perform cement plugs for abandonment  and kick off point and curing losses .Ets
